Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage
Your first step to applying for a mortgage with NatWest
Your Agreement in Principle
An Agreement in Principle is an important step in applying for a mortgage. It gives an indication of whether we could lend you the amount you need to borrow. We use a soft credit check to do this, which has no impact on your credit file.
The process takes around 5 minutes and requires some personal information, including details of your income and financial commitments. Don't worry, we won't use those details for marketing purposes.
Getting an Agreement in Principle does not mean you are committing to apply for a NatWest mortgage. However, once you have one, you'll be ready to view our range of mortgages and choose your preferred way to apply.
Please note we cannot provide guarantor mortgages or mortgages with more than two applicants.
